| OK, a little more about me...
I absolutely adore animals! I've always been the same, rescuing poor little creatures and bringing them back to health! It's like a zoo at my house, lol! Anyway, to elaborate, I've many pets including over 60 birds ...so you ideally must love animals to get along with me! I've just begun horse riding again after 7 years of being out of the saddle! As you might have guessed, I love the outdoors, nature, gardening and I'm even good at DIY! Oh & career-wise, I'm aiming for something in the field of Ornithology (birds).
I enjoy going to the cinema to mainly see sci-fi/action/fantasy movies eg. the Matrix Trilogy, Van Helsing, The Rock, Face Off, Reign of Fire, Spider-man 1&2; I also like a good romance eg. Meet Joe Black, City of Angels, A Walk in the Clouds, Pride & Prejudice. Favourite actors have to be Colin Firth, Nicolas Cage, Ioan Grufford, Clive Owen & Keanu Reeves.
I love most music including dance rock electronica and trance.
I've an accomplished interest in the arts due to studying Art up to HE level until a year ago. My talents include sketching/painting and I still practice photography. I mainly like black and white photography, have a couple of classic SLRs and have just splashed out on a great digital camera; so yes, the interest is definately still there.
Personality-wise, I'm quite shy: I think I need someone who can really bring me out of myself, and quiet (again the shy, reserved part of me). I always been very mature for my age, and so I'm very trustworthy, reliable, studious, modest, caring, kind, generous and very sensitive. I'm not your typical beautiful, thin girl: I am curvy.
For now, I think I'll just settle for friendship at first due to a couple of bad past relationships, but hopefully if the chemistry's there, maybe the friendship will develop.
